At Outback Pampering, we could NOT support this waste of our beatiful planet's resources, so we didn't use Palm Wax at all, despite our love for it. Then, Joy! our Palm Oil supplier, who is World Wildlife Fund and Fair Trade endorsed, branched into Palm Wax as well. So now, we can offer you an environmentally sustainable, non ecosystem harmful, high quality palm wax candle.
We make these candles in free standing pillars 76mm wide, and two sizes, 400 grams (Regular) and 700 grams (Large). We have found that these sizes will give you the very best value for money from your candles.
How?? I hear you ask. Well, Palm Wax doesn't burn like the beautiful Soy Wax candles that we manufacture. The WHOLE candle doesn't burn, only the middle portion, because we deliberately use a small wick. The reasoning for this is that when the candle has burnt down a tunnel through the middle to an inch from the bottom, you do NOT burn it any more. Instead, place an unscented tealight in the hollow (the same as you would with our beautiful Himalayan Salt Crystal Ionic Lytes) and let the gentle heat from its small flame diffuse the remaining scent into the air.
Your Palm Wax Pillar candle will last MANY, MANY more hours this way, and you will get the added bonus of a beautiful glow through the colour of the candle. Even better value for money!
